We are on Cloud 9! Ryan and I went for our 2nd trimester ultrasound this morning where they do a full anatomy scan. They actually identify every body part and take measurements, down to the ventricles of the heart and quadrants of the brain. The Technician said that everything looks normal from her perspective and even commented on the heart and brain as "beautiful". That made us happy! It was so much fun to watch Ryan so amazed by this hour long movie of our baby. At the end, she identified that it's a GIRL! Contrary to most of the guesses (including our own), we are going to have a daughter and couldn't be more thrilled! Now we can get serious about some names and the nursery. This is becoming so real!
