Trick-or-Treat!

Now that Shaye is 2, and is excited about Halloween, we thought it would be fun to experience trick-or-treating. I think I was more excited to get back in the action but we got Shaye curious about the hype. We took the easy route on her costume with a Chargers Girl look and she seemed to really like it. In fact, she rehearsed her "ta-da!" for us over and over while waiting for it to get dark.


Then, we collected candy on our street and the one below ours. At the first house, she started to walk in the door (don't we do that at every other house?!) and took a big handful of candy! Once we told her to wait at the door and only take one piece of candy, she focused on saying "Trick-or-Treat" and "Thank you".

We enjoyed our first real holiday experience with our little kid and we'll be back for more!
