LA Wedding Overnighter

We had a great 24 hour date up in Los Angeles for the wedding of Sean Bates, Ryan's co-worker. It was at a funky little venue, The Smog Shoppe, which turned out to be a great spot for a fun wedding. Ryan's boss as well as a couple other ROTR co-workers joined us for a night of fun. The hotel left a lot to be desired (especially at a rate of $120/night!) but that's LA for ya! A special thanks to Rick and Joyce for taking care of our Bundle of Joy! Here's some shots of the evening.

Orange County Fair

We gave Shaye her first Fair experience this past weekend, along with my parents. She had a blast taking in all of the animals up close, and petting many of them. She loves vegetables and fruit so it was fun to show her the little farm with practically every kind of vegetation possible. We took advantage of the kid areas with activities (wheelbarrow & tractor) and she even ate her way through the fair (healthy snacks of course). The only thing missing was my sister, since she is an avid Fair lover. Next summer, maybe Shaye and Olivia can stake their claim on the OC Fair!
