Hail to the Irish!

Although I am not Irish, my husband is, which makes me want to get excited about St. Patrick's Day. Plus, I am a sucker for holidays regardless. It's Tuesday so we'll be celebrating much different than we did last year. If you recall, we threw a big "Wearin' O' the Green" party and decked out our house with decorations, Guinness, and tried to be Irish for the day with our friends. This year - it will be Knowlwood's for burgers (well for me, Veggie of course) and Irish Nachos. The so called Irish Nachos are not really all that Irish, but we're going to indulge anyway! Afterward, we'll try to hunt down an establishment to get Ryan his Guinness, which he loves so dearly. And that's about the extent - how things have changed! To reflect on last summer's trip to Ireland, here are some scenes in Dublin including our first pub experience, Christ's Church, the Dublin Castle, and a famous little fish and chip stop. Happy St. Paddy's Day!

You are part Irish... Grandma Wharton's mother was 100% Irish and in fact was born in Ireland and came over here at about 9 mo. old! So you get to celebrate just as much as him!!!
